2007 Tournament Dedication
Joe Cooper retires as Director of the Glastonbury Lacrosse Tournament.
After some twenty very enjoyable years at the helm, Joe is calling it a career. In his retirement speech he said "We're forever grateful to all who've played in the tournament as well as our sponsors as we've been able to raise considerable funds from the tournament for our charitable causes, National Multiple Sclerosis Society and American Cancer Society due to your generosity."
Coop concluded saying "We're passing the operation of the tournament to the Glastonbury Lacrosse Club, which coordinates all of the youth lacrosse activities in town; and has done so successfully for years. They've helped make Glastonbury one of the top lacrosse towns in the state. We're confident that it will continue to be a very competitive and fun tournament for the players, which is why we chose the Glastonbury Lacrosse Club to continue the event. Kevin McHugh will be the 2007 Tournament's Director."
